Regenerative Organizations

Companies depend on multiple sources of energy and materials to create value. Those sources include everything from raw materials and energy to manufacture or keep the lights on, to the time and talent of their people, and the services provided by their local communities.

The industrial revolution brought a “take, make, waste” mentality — extract what you need, make your product and your profits, and throw away the rest. This is now broadly understood to be degenerative, depletive, and inequitable. It is inherently unsustainable and cannot be the dominant model of the 21st century.

What’s needed now is a regenerative approach.  We partner with leaders striving to operate in the regeneration zone — who want to find creative, simple, innovative ways to flourish, while maintaining an equitable and sustainable value exchange with other actors in the ecosystem.
